Movie Review #3: “Hidalgo”

viggo-and-hidalgo

The story of “Hidalgo” is one of personal triumph. Not only Hopkins survived and won the long-distance race but his horse Hidalgo proved to be a strong horse with a will of his own–a will that pulled both rider and horse through one of the toughest races. There were times that Hopkins wanted to throw in the towel and return home, but Hidalgo, sensing this, would not give up. Maybe it was because Hopkins treated Hidalgo like family when he called him “brother.” Do you agree? ~~LMMolina
