In the movie, the detective Sam Spade slaps Joel Cairo after he’s been slapped by a woman. I suppose we could apply this quote to situations that come up in life. We should take them in stride and enjoy them, good or bad!
The Maltese Falcon (1941) is one of the most popular and best classic detective mysteries ever made. Many film historians consider it the first in the dark film noir genre in Hollywood. The actors Humphrey Bogart and Peter Lorre went on to become famous later on in their acting careers. Both are worth watching in this film. I highly recommend it! ~~LMMolina
